Boondock Saints Review

Boondock Saints is a fantastic movie that stars Willem Dafoe, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Norman Reedus. It runs approximately 108 minutes, released in 1999, and is rated R. The main story is about two brothers that are caught in a bad place with the Russian Mafia, and they begin to kill the scum of the city. They meet up with their friend, Rocco, and he assists them with their quest for good. Willem Dafoe stars as an FBI detective that is caught in a moral delemma between the law and what he feels is right.

This movie is an amazing acting performance of all the actors. They create a realism that is outstanding and deserving of dozens of awards. It is one of my favorite movies because of the comedy, action, and drama that lies within the script. If you are offended by multiple f-bombs and seeing cat guts sprayed across the wall of an apartment, this movie probably isn't for you.

    Tyler. This movie is one that I have not ever seen. I don't think I ever will watch it.... I like cats and seeing a cats guts sprayed across the wall would probly make me sick to my tummy. =-( I'm glad that you gave that much information about the movie thought that is good. =-)

    This movie is awesome granted I like the second better, but this movie is still really good one and liked how they kill people.

    Oh my G@*!!! This movie is the best movie of all time!!! The second one is great too... And oh geez people who have never seen both of the Boondock Saints movies they need to go get it NOW!! anywho.. great blog :D

    So i haven't seen this movie, but it sounds pretty cool. Mafia movies are always legit, and i hate cats so if they kill some it should add to it haha.

    I don't always like movies with lots of violence like this one has, but I watched it a few years ago with my brother and have to admit, it wasn't bad. I think the difference between this and other, similar movies, is the quality of the acting and the character motivation.
